Dynamic movement with poles
Running Time: 2 mins 44 secs

Purpose: Adding a pole to your routine can improve a player’s range of movement by offering them an object to focus on. For the coach this work adds a new dimension to the session.

Other advantages of this type of work are greater coordination, leading to better technical ability.

Session Time: 1 – 5 mins. Choose exercises as required to solve specific technical problems.


Dynamic movement
Running Time: 2 mins 48 secs

Purpose: Dynamic movement is essential for improving a player’s all round ability to move effectively on court. It has been shown to be very effective in preventing injury, particularly problems relating to the kinetic chain. Other advantages of this type of work are greater coordination, leading to better technical ability.

Session Time: 10 – 15 mins. Can be used to extend the length of the warm up. Essential for all players.


Agility Exercises
Running Time: 1 min 40 secs

Purpose: The purpose of this class is to improve your players overall agility using a series of interlinking exercises. This work is essential for young players but is also beneficial for players of all ages and levels.

Advantages for using this type of work are better movement on court and injury prevention.

Session Time: 5 – 10 mins. This work must be carried out at the start of the session when the player is fresh – straight after warm up.
